Trinity
Continues Progressive Development Program For Microsoft Dynamics GP Partners - April 2002
Over the past two years Trinity has followed a progressive software
development program, releasing an impressive 14 distribution modules
into the Microsoft Dynamics GP partner channel. The aggressive
development schedule has been supported by a strong Dexterity development
team, technical support desk, training and implementation services.
Interest in Trinity's Myridas distribution modules has gathered
momentum, with module sales through Microsoft Dynamics GP partners
in the UK, Europe, the USA and South Africa. In addition, Trinity's
own pricing module, sold to Microsoft Dynamics GP in summer 2001,
has now been released in eEnterprise as Extended Pricing.
The Trinity Partner Program, initially provided for Microsoft Dynamics GP partners in the UK, has since been extended to support
partners around the World, providing access to Myridas distribution
modules for resale to their current and prospective customers.
Development of Myridas modules continues, with the latest modules
providing further key functionality required by distribution companies.
These modules, released in April 2002 include: Catalogue Based
Sales, Inter-Site Transfers and Returns Management.
Catalogue Based Sales
The Catalogue Based Sales module enables order takers to increase
sales, improve productivity and offer better customer service.
Through a number of additional features including, Catalogue and
Screen Search, Item Catalogue, Item Display and Information Point,
operators are able to find information more quickly and view this
in a more productive format. These features are critical in a distribution
environment, where order takers are required to process orders
quickly and accurately, finding substitute products where necessary,
whilst providing a high level of customer service.
Inter-Site Transfers
In a multi-site distribution environment the management of inter-site
transfers can be critical to operational effectiveness. Whether
it for the re-distribution of stock from a central warehouse to
satellite depots or simply to control ad-hoc inventory movements
inventory between locations, Myridas Inter-Site Transfers brings
new levels of control and automation to this important business
process.
Returns Management
The Returns Management module speeds up the handling of customer
returns and improves operational control. New functionality allows
for the printing of collection notes, whilst returns documents
can be based upon invoices, ensuring that only valid returns are
processed. Trinity have three new modules scheduled for release
in September 2002, maintaining the innovative and progressive development
program that Trinity has followed over the past two years.
