Trinity Releases Three New Distribution
Modules at Stampede - October 2001
Trinity Computer Services Ltd today announced the launch of three
new Myridas distribution modules at the Microsoft Dynamics GP
Conference in October 2001.
Trinity have been working on an aggressive development programme
over the past 2 years, releasing an impressive 12 new modules via
their 'Partner Program'. The seamless integration and comprehensive
functionality of these modules resulted in the sale of the 'Advanced
Pricing Module' to Microsoft Dynamics GP themselves in June 2001.
The latest additions for the Partner Programme include the Myridas
Item Manager, Catchweights and Units of Measure Management modules.
Item Manager, is a module that
provides a wizard to copy ranges and items quickly and efficiently,
reducing the risk of errors that occur with manual inputting.
Catchweights, is a module that
provides accurate pricing where the actual weight of an item varies,
eg fresh fish, cuts of meats or bales of cloth. The module enables
improved control over products and pricing, more accurate information
for both customer and company, and a clearer depiction of units
on the picking lists reduces the number of errors incurred at this
stage of the process.
Units of Measure Management,
provides the facility to specify items as 'split pack' items, specify
a main stock unit for items and perform stock counts on items in
the split pack format. This module allows the user to instantly
evaluate item quantities, and provides greater control over item
quantity management.
Trinity is continuing with a full development program, further
modules will be released in the next six months adding to the already
comprehensive range of distribution modules. Other software in
the Myridas suite includes Delivery Logistics, Call Scheduling,
Vehicle Load Scheduling and Available to Promise applications.
These applications are fully integrated with eEnterprise and Dynamics.
